It is Megan's passion to help homeless, neglected and abused animals. She have been working in Calgary and area trying to help as many of these animals as she can by supporting families in her target community, outside the city and here in Calgary, along with helping many homeless dogs and cats.
From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters more than 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and will continue to do so until we live in a world where we are no longer needed. By fostering the values of respect, compassion, teamwork and integrity, Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
